Ringabella Bay is a tidal estuary. The sands and mud flats at low tide 
are home to all kinds of sea birds. Living here, you cannot but be enthralled
by the beauty of these winged creatures. Some of my earliest work tried to
capture the essence of these wild birds. First there was the noble beauty of 
the standing cormorant as it warmed its feathers under the midday sun; 
then came the curlews locked in time in an endless flight;
then egrets, swallows ..... Birds will always intrigue and enthrall.
